The place is as picturesque as the valleys of the mountain streams. The peculiarity of the reserve is the occurrence of backward erosion of waters flowing from sources. The washed out sands flow down the impervious loam, which are carried down the gorge, thanks to which the source of the Łyna constantly reverses. This is a unique phenomenon unheard of in the lowlands.
